Fun was had in Savannah weekend before last! Unfortunately we did not make it to the gay bar we had planned to go to, and that was RIGHT across the street from our hotel! Lady Chablis from Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil was singing that night, and the cover was outrageous. That would have been a good show. I guess they gotta keep out the riffraff (and straight people). :-(
Oh well. We went to a Scottish bar (among others)instead, where there were strangely no Scots but a few little kids running around. WTF? Only in Savannah, I guess. I'm not sure what else to expect from a city where you can walk down the street with your rum and Coke. What a wonderful city. Why didn't I find a job THERE?
How very bundled up I am here...I love this picture. Maybe because it looks like Marilyn Monroe is about to kiss me.
In other news, last week I found a cute lil house in Winston-Salem that I move into on the 28th!!! It's an older house, nice and roomy inside with a divided LR/DR deal that will give me a nice writing area. I'll have to hunt down a cool old-timey desk or something. It also has a funky little backyard that hopefully will contain Minnie...it's worthy of some gnomes or a birdbath or something.
Hoorah! In ten days I will no longer be a Georgia resident. What better Christmas present could I give myself?

Nice hat, chica!

Yeah, you like my hat. The hat rules all. Recognize the greatness that is the hat.
